SEAL Minnesota focuses on strengthening school-based dental sealant programming through coordinated partnership and collaboration. This includes sharing resources, information, and data. To support this work, SEAL Minnesota provides funds, technical assistance, and networking opportunities to school sealant providers throughout the state.

Through a cooperative agreement between Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), SEAL Minnesota supports school sealant programs to deliver dental sealants, oral health education and other oral health services to children in school settings through regulary grants. The 2023-2024 grant cycle is currently underway.

The purpose of this grant is to help public health entities, such as School-based health centers, local public health agencies (LPHAs), community clinics, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs), migrant health services, and health organization, build infrastructure and capacity to coordinate SSPs in Dental HPSA.
